
Dr. Jordan DeVault is a graduate of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, located on the tropical Island of St. Kitts. She completed her clinical year at Colorado State University in 2015, finalizing her training in both small and large animal veterinary medicine. During her time in Colorado, Dr. DeVault became certified as a small and large animal acupuncturist and continues to incorporate acupuncture into her practice to support patient wellbeing.

Dr. DeVault gained extensive experience working with exotic and wild species as an exotic animal emergency doctor in Southern California. She later practiced in Florida where she expanded her expertise in infectious diseases and the care of less commonly treated exotic animals. She eventually returned to her home California, where she continues to provide care for both small and exotic animals.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. DeVault continually advances her knowledge and skills as veterinary medicine evolves. Her professional interests include surgery, ultrasonography, behavior, internal medicine, urgent care, pain management, preventative medicine and more. Dr. DeVault thoroughly enjoys cats and their unique medical attributes and needs.

Raised in Newbury Park, California, Dr. DeVault earned her degree in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2011. She now resides on the Central Coast with her husband, horse, 2 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, and fish.
Dr. DeVault entered the veterinary field at a young age and has dedicated her career to the profession ever since. She has worked in large multi-doctor hospitals, as a solo practitioner, and as a medical director. This diverse experience has given her a well-rounded understanding of the veterinary industry and the evolving needs of patients and clients alike. Above all, Dr. DeVault is passionate about ensuring her patients receive individualized, compassionate care that supports a high quality of life.
In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, exploring nature, reading, art and crafts, traveling, music, collecting specimens, and hanging with her family and pets.
